Without revealing too much, there was an incident that happened but basically it left a lot of our family members kinda shook. A lot of the men were super macho and a lot of the women were super religious and together they consistently talked about how being gay was sinful and nothing to be proud of. After the incident it forced them to reflect on how hurtful and fucked up their words were so they had to actually make a change in their beliefs unless they wanted something similar to happen again. Ironically it led to people in my family coming out since it was a sensitive time and people wanted to show their support by being open and letting other people know it’s okay to be gay. I was still young at the time but my mom got my sister and I in the living room one day and said our sister had something to admit. She came out as a lesbian and asked my brother and I if we wanted to say something. I told her congrats but I didn’t wanna say anything then. My brother followed suit and my mom was like “if there’s anything else you would like to get off your chest, now would be the time to do so.” I refused to take that option though because I was a stubborn bitch but about a year later on my way to a hookup my mom asked me where I was going and I told her it was for school and then she straight up said “I know you’re going to meet up with a guy” and at that point I already knew she knew so I just told her yes it was true because why not? She told me she already knew because she was super protective and installed that software that screen records your computer and saw that I looked up gay porn. She tried to give me an out when my sister came out and was disappointed I didn’t do it then. My sister found out later that day and she said she was surprised it wasn’t my brother since he loves going to the gay club. Fun fact he’s “straight”.

Pride Quick Draw
To get a participation ticket for the big draw, you can do so by participating in the Pride Quick Draw Game this evening. This will be shown at the finale on September 11th, you have been warned.
You only have to participate to get a ticket, it doesn't have to win the best drawing. I will randomly post something for you to draw on this thread. It will happen 3 times from now until 9:45pm EST.
